NineTeen

Year 2008~2009 has brought about quite some change in my life.

And here are..... nineteen of the many things I did/had when I was nineteen.

No.1
Experienced what a 'SWARM' of mosquitoes felt like.... and broke my record by killing more than a hundred mosquitoes in a day.

No.2
Took my first ever commerce unit: Management 100.... the unit that I dreadfully regret taking. It practically serves no purpose, no use, and help at all to me.

Found out what the word BORED really meant by living in Miri.

No.4

Went for Karaoke for the first time. During TeeLin's B'day Party.

Had my Longest Road trip....... 6 hours, not on any main highway but........... the worst road in Sarawak, and possibly whole of Malaysia.... to Long Bedian. I'd definitely remember it.

Saw a Real Waterfall......... for the first time too.......

And Jumped off it!!! (That's not me btw)

Wore my school uniform, 1 year after graduation..... and not because I had to, but for the fun of it!! (sobs, I miss high school)

I got my very first Camera, Nikon D60, thanks to my mom.

I moved house Twice in One Week, meaning... I moved.... and I moved again.... Special Thanks to Jordan, Welton, and Vivian, haha.

I went to a place where I haven't been to for nearly the last 5 years...... which brings back so many memories... and the beautiful view....

Went to KL, saw the twin towers......... and sat on their LRTs, and their Buses, and their Taxis. Definitely didn't like the latter.

I ate a meal that cost me an ass whooping RM46!! at Fridays. But you can't deny it that their service is good, and the food pretty good.

I had Yee-Sang for the first time, Haha!

I went to genting, sat on this Machine....

And regretted it the moment I reached the top.....

But realised that I wanted more after if was over, hahahaha.

I got called Uncle.......................... so much for being 19..... (now I know why the "Jie jie's" ignore you when you call them "Aunty")

Shopping in KL was so much fun that I shopped till I was left with ONE buck! RM1!! (That was the last day I was in KL)

I sat on the banana boat for the first time.....

and overturned with it (duh, who doesn't).

And then I sat on the jet ski for my first time too......... And threw Both my passengers offboard!!

I inherited the genes of taking SS pics (Syok Sendiri, in case some had no clue)

But it seemed they turned out not bad at all.

I bought my very first bottle of Liquor. A bottle of Jack Daniel's.

To celebrate.

And as of today, I am officially 20, Twenty years old.
Goodbye my Teens, may it all be sweet memories of the past.

Thanks Mom and Dad, that without the two of you, I never might be who I am today.

Drunk on CNY

If you ever thought that Chinese New Year was a time that everybody enjoyed beer and drinks till they drank themselves to the toilets, you bet!

I was looking through my CNY pics while I was in KL, and I realised that I haven't finished on my KL updates, so instead.... I decided I'll update you guys about them randomly instead.

Anyway, back on topic..... CNY really seemed merry this year, everybody was getting drunk, but this topic ain't about me of course.

This was my can of Shandy.... erm, well, it's a new brand of shandy still in 'testing' by Carlsberg... I guess that's why it's called 'New Taste' but whatever..... I was enjoying my shandy on CNY until I realised that this sucker was enjoying it too.

And if you thought shandy couldn't get anyone drunk, it sure did it to this little guy.

He kept wanting more and more until finally he was so drunk he fell into the can.

Life in Miri

This isn't the first time I posted some dull boring topic like this..... But guess what? It's the influence of a dull and boring place like miri. That's why I don't have anything much to update.

So it's been 3 weeks I've been here, and whenever I come to miri, everything goes back to square one. It's like a stupid cycle repeating itself each sem.... but whether it gets worse or better each sem, I haven't paid attention to that yet.

However, there IS one thing I like about miri.... and with a camera this time..... it just makes things so much more easier to explain. And that is........

The sky.

Just out my back window, everyday, everytime, there's a different pattern out there. And the best part is during sunset.

You can get skies that looked like they were burning like this

Or some other day it might look a little more golden like this

Well, of course I can't show you my whole collection of sunsets here..... but anyway..... you can get a nice sunset in miri thanks to it's ever-flat-landscape, which is all flatland for as far as you can see.....

But saying miri has a nice sky doesn't mean you can't get stuff like this in Sabah.

In Sabah, somehow if you're lucky, you might get even more interesting sights like:

Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky.

Unfortunately..... these pictures will never be enough to show how beautiful it REALLY is in reality....... it really makes you wanna stop and stare.

So for now....... I've gotta catch some sleep.

Life in Miri has been somewhat boring so far..... though things DO happen once in a while.... like people killing people, people robbing people.... and what more...... I have no idea right now.

But 5 years from now..... things might be very different for every each and every one of us.
