Jobless, Week 2

It's been 2 weeks, and I've sent out about.... 30+ resumes now. And I'd even spent my time on taking some wicked personality tests on job-hunting websites.... which were kinda fun to do, and especially when I got this:

Well, if you know how to read this chart. Apparently according to this report, I'm an Ass at doing Hard Labour.... which.... I am.... and can't bother to be social.... well, that depends, but if I'm with strangers.... yes =)

But the chart also shows that I'm as Loyal as men's best friend, mind you, and can produce Good quality work, Hah!

Then again, all the while looking at the result of the chart.... I can't seem to think why this phantom keeps coming to my mind.

No, I DO NOT have 'Kellogg's Corn Flakes' for breakfast every morning. Yet somehow maybe it signifies I'm actually a cock.

On the other hand, just when I was about to give up sending out applications in thought that half the e-mails I'd sent had gone to the company's 'spam mail' and the other half of them only read mails from people whose name wasn't 'Cuthbert', I finally got some replies.

But the catch about applying for jobs that aren't located where you are, is that.... well, one is, you have a less chance of being considered for hiring, because usually people want someone whose close by.... two is, you're gonna have to fly yourself over to wherever they are whenever they say "Could you come for an interview."

One of the replies needed me to fly over to the west m'sia just for a Test. Whatever that 'Test' is.... I planned on postponing it until one fine day when all of the sudden I get the urge and I go... "Let's go to KL".... and then I'll take the test. So I told the company so, and they were fine with it =)

Another offered me a cool job which, I felt was cool because there were quite a lot of benefits to it. Unfortunately I'm waiting for them to set-up an interview with me, which.... they haven't....

And then you get jobs which sound cool, just because you get the title "Engineer" behind it 0_0.... who knew I'd grow up to be an "Engineer" one day.... but that's another story altogether.

For now, I can only wait keep up my hard work of applying for jobs.... ~.~"
