Happy Belated Valentine's 2011

First of all, a very belated Happy Valentine's Day to everyone~ because I was busy rushing about all noon settling my very first unofficial, unexpected and oddest gift for Valentine's day.

A job offer letter.

10:21 am this yesterday morning, I was groggily awoken to the ringing of my phone, which I placed beside my bed and never dared turning it off since the past month.

"Urrmmm.... Ah-hem.... yea....." my body reacted on reflex, placing the phone to my ear, not sure whether I was dreaming still... I didn't know what I was saying.

"Hello?" I heard a fine lady's voice over the line. My ears perked up, and gave my mind a jump-start wake up call.

"Yes! Hello!" I replied. Managing to sound awake, or so I hoped.

"Can I speak to Cuthbe-", "Yes, speaking-" I accidentally cut her short, overcompensating a bit on trying to make myself sound awake.

"This is _______ from ________, do you remember the interview we had? I'm calling to inform you that you have been accepted for the job."

So on Valentine's day when everyone else was busy being mushy with their loved and cherished other halves, I spent my day preparing myself for starting work.

Never thought a job offer could be a gift for Valentine's. But apparently a present doesn't have to come from in a form of flowers or chocolates eh?

Happy Belated Tiger Year!!

Every now and then, I forget about this blog of mine. This is one of those now and then's.... Seems I have once again found myself more busy in games and sleeping, rather than blogging. And right now, it's also one of those nights where insomnia strikes and I can't sleep again. It's 4 in the morning, and honestly speaking, I think my mind works best during midnight, coz it just can't stop spinning right now~!!!!

Well anyway, I guess it's also because of the last couple of weeks being pretty merry and noisy with the Chinese New Year right now. It's not that I've been out frequently or anything... (or wait... maybe I have been out quite frequently... never mind) Most of the time I was just sitting at home trying more new games and saving money. Hehehe


The Chinese New Year this year was a noisy one. 3 days before CNY, fireworks were ALREADY playing! I wasn't surprised at first...

But then the eve before CNY, things started getting a little craaaiiiizzie....

BOOM~~ BOOM~~ BANG~ BANG~~... and there was even the *Prrrar-prarprara-PrrarratttataTatt-tatataT* ones that were like 30 seconds long. Again... and again... and again...

I was thinking.... did the government lift the ban on fireworks or what??

*Kkkrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccckkkaakakakaka* were the only sound-sssSS I heard outside my house since 10pm onwards.... together with *BOOM BOOM*-sssSS as a kicker.

Or did the government just announce the 'end' of recession?? Cause I don't remember hearing such a news.... It seemed like everybody suddenly had all the money in the world to burn fireworks this year.

It's been a long time since I saw so many fireworks go off at once. The one like above are the ones that go *BBOMMMMMMmmmmm* ... ... and rocks your heart.

It definitely was a splendid view...




On the other note. My 'series' of photos for Valentine's Day basically went to the dogs ~.~
Reason for this is because I didn't have enough equipment, ideas.... AND motivation to do it. I only did a couple of photos, which didn't turn out very nice in my opinion. I guess I'll just save the ideas for next year ^^

Hope you guys still had a good "Gong Xi Fuck Cai" this CNY + Valentine's.

Wow. I can't believe this is actually my ONE HUNDREDTH post.

I started this blog almost 2 years ago when I was "trapped" in Miri with the intention that it might kill some time and it might be a good place to 'record' down any experiences. Turns out this blog proved pretty useful on the killing time part, since I can take more than an hour updating a single post if you guys knew... as for boredom... nah.... didn't help much there because I realised that when I'm bored... I don't blog either...

Anyway, it seems like a haven't updated in a while again. The last 2 weeks have been pretty..... both eventful AND uneventful... There are things I wanna write down in single separate posts... but just don't have the time and the right words for them; and then when things get uneventful, I happen to be sitting down at home, staring at Facebook or armorgames.com or even just my desktop screen because I'm SOOooooOO bored (okay, maybe I DO have time to update, but not the mood)

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. Trying to come up with ideas.... ideas for what?

- Falling in Love -

Falling in Love is like... *splat*... "Shyt..." ... but before you know it, you've grown to like it.

These sort of ideas.... ^_^ ... photos for Valentine's Day.

It's just a thought that I'd try to kill some time by taking some photos for Valentine's day. Not that I'm gonna sell them or anything. I just thought it's a good idea to keep myself busy and come up with my own ideas for expressing Valentine's Day.

This picture is one to begin with. There'll be a couple more coming soon which... ... I've got the idea, but haven't photographed them yet.
